Hero-Arkadag and Recep Erdogan noted the rapid development of bilateral cooperation

On Sunday, March 30, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, TDH reports.

Noting that Turkey is one of the strategic trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that building up and strengthening multifaceted Turkmen-Turkish relations on a long-term basis is one of the priorities of our country's foreign policy.

In this regard, the parties noted with satisfaction the rapid development of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Recep Erdogan congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the adoption of the Resolution "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan" by the UN General Assembly for the third time, noting that this significant achievement testifies to the recognition of the policy of the Turkmen state in the interests of peace, good neighborliness, universal well-being and sustainable development.

Hero-Arkadag expressed gratitude for the participation of the Turkish delegation in the International Conference dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.

The interlocutors also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy holiday of Oraza.

At the end of the conversation, the interlocutors confirmed their readiness to support each other's initiatives and efforts to further expand relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey and give them new content.
