Registration for participation in the XXXI International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2026” is now open. The conference under the motto “Energy. Partnership. Progress” will take place on October 21–23, 2026 in Ashgabat. It will bring together the leading representatives of the global energy industry, heads of the largest companies, investors, financial institutions and technology providers to determine further areas of international energy cooperation.

Tatneft's branch in Turkmenistan has announced a tender for the purchase of spare parts for F-800 drilling pumps. Bids must be submitted within ten business days of the official publication in the Nebit-Gaz newspaper and on the website www.oilgas.gov.tm (see the Tenders section).

The meeting, aimed at promoting awareness and education, was held in a roundtable format.

On April 18, a celebratory meeting dedicated to the launch of the fourth stage of development of the super-giant Galkynysh gas field was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. The event coincided with the start of large-scale drilling of production wells and the construction of a modern commercial gas treatment facility with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters per year. On April 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and First Vice President of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, who is visiting Turkmenistan on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping, TDH reports.
