The United States supports the diversification of Turkmen natural gas transportation routes. This was stated by Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers at a press briefing in Ashgabat, according to Turkmenportal.

"Turkmenistan has the fourth-largest natural gas reserves in the world, and we wish Turkmenistan the best in developing and exporting these resources," she said.

Rogers emphasized that the cornerstone of US foreign policy is ensuring that Washington's partners—including in the C5+1 format—are secure, strong, and prosperous.

Rogers's visit to Turkmenistan was part of a regional tour that also includes India, Nepal, and Uzbekistan. The trip is aimed at developing trade diplomacy, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting digital innovation.
