It is not without reason that the progress of our Motherland is compared to the speed of a horse. There is a special meaning in this. During the years of independence, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag initiated fundamental reforms aimed at industrializing the country and strengthening Turkmenistan’s position in the world arena as one of the industrially developed countries in the world. At the same time, a decisive course was taken on the priority development of the fuel and energy complex, which is the driver of the national economy. In recent years, modern power plants, based on the latest achievements of science and technology, have been built and successfully commissioned in the regions of the country. Two such modern facilities were commissioned in the Lebap velayat. These are the state-owned power plants, Lebap and Watan.
At the new facilities, our underground resource – natural gas – is used for generating electricity. High-pressure gas pipelines have been laid to ensure the smooth operation of new capacities. One of them is the Üçajy-Zergar high-pressure gas pipeline with a total length of 125 kilometers. The construction of this facility was carried out at a high level by experienced builders of the Türkmengündogarnebitgurluşyk Construction and Installation Trust.
