Polymers and textiles – in the top exchange trading

Last week, 67 transactions were registered at the biddings of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. High-density polyethylene, polypropylene, EKO-93 brand gasoline (manufactured by the SC “Turkmengas”) and plastic containers have become the subjects of transactions by businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Belize and Afghanistan.

Also, for foreign currency, colorless sheet glass, cotton and yarn, textiles, denim, and handmade rugs were sold. Buying countries: Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan.

The total amount of transactions exceeded 12 million 464 thousand US dollars.

For manat funds, entrepreneurs from Russia, Great Britain, the UAE, and Turkey purchased handmade rugs and cotton yarn worth more than 4 million manat.

Domestic entrepreneurs purchased high-density polyethylene and polypropylene (SC “Turkmengas”) for the local market, as well as handmade carpets totaling over 17.4 million manat.
