In the city of Dubai (UAE), on November 29-30, the fourth meeting of the participants of the international exhibition EXPO-2020 was held, which will be held for the first time in the African, Middle Eastern and South Asian regions, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
Turkmenistan was represented by a delegation led by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov.
As part of this event, the Turkmen delegation met with the Executive Director of EXPO 2020 Najib Mohammed Al Ali, during which organizational issues related to the participation of Turkmenistan in this large-scale event were discussed.
The Foreign Ministry recalls that on November 5 this year, at a meeting in Ashgabat with the Executive Director of the Expo 2020 Bureau in Dubai, Najib Mohammed Al-Ali, it was noted that Turkmenistan’s participation in this exhibition will contribute to the further strengthening of Turkmen-Emirate relations and will provide an opportunity closer to familiarize the world community with the economic achievements of Turkmenistan.
The world exhibition "EXPO 2020", which will be held from October 20, 2020 to April 2021 in the city of Dubai, will be held under the slogan "Interaction of minds and building the future."
The upcoming forum will be the most representative in the history of this World Exhibition. It will be attended by 192 countries, as well as international organizations. Within six months, a megaplatform will be deployed, at which each of the exhibitors of the large-scale exhibition will be able to demonstrate their achievements and innovations, introduce them to history, culture, trade, economic, investment and tourism potential, as well as exchange experiences and establish productive ties.
