In the Central building of the oil and gas complex, a production meeting was held with the participation of heads and specialists of the industry, at which the tasks for improving the activities of oil and gas industry enterprises, designated by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, were discussed.
Speaking to the audience, Vice Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Meredov stressed the special importance of the issues on the agenda of the working meeting held by the head of state on November 19. As noted, the oil and gas industry is a leading industry, which plays a significant role in the implementation of programs for the industrialization of the country on an innovative basis, ensuring stable growth, diversification and strengthening the export potential of the national economy.
The meeting was also attended by Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Ya. Kakayev, state Minister – Chairman of the State concern "Türkmengas" M. Archaev, acting Chairman of The state concern "Türkmennebit" D. Orazov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa"
Sh.Abdrakhmanov, General Director of Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries B. Amanov and representative of the Board of Directors of the joint stock company "TAPI Pipeline Company Limited" M. Amanov. In their reports, they analyzed in detail the production activities of the structural units of the fuel and energy sector and announced the measures that will be taken to improve the efficiency of their work.
In this regard, it was noted that in accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, a set of relevant measures aimed at increasing oil and gas production and strengthening the raw material base of the industry is planned. In particular, it is necessary to significantly expand the scope of work in the field of prospecting and exploration of promising areas for oil and gas, accelerate the pace of development of new fields, drilling and overhaul of wells, including by attracting foreign companies and investments-CNPC, “ENI”, “Schlumberger”, “Tatneft”, etc.
Special attention will be paid to the introduction of advanced technologies to increase the return of productive deposits of fields that are in long-term operation, as well as modern equipment and equipment.
At the same time, work will continue on technical re-equipment of industry enterprises, diversification of the oil and gas industry through the construction of modern production facilities specializing in deep processing of oil and gas. In General, all this will increase the production of petroleum products, expand the range of gas and chemical products that are in high demand on world markets.
The participants of the meeting assured the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that they will apply all their knowledge, strength and experience to solve the tasks set by the head of state to the employees of the fuel and energy sector.
