Italian export credit Agency SACE is interested in continuing cooperation with Turkmenistan in the oil and gas sector. This was stated by the President of SACE Beniamino Quintieri at the meeting of the head of Turkmenistan with representatives of large business in Italy.
- We are also involved in the Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, where we provide support to many Italian suppliers of products for this project.
Quintieri stressed that in Turkmenistan the state supports projects in which foreign companies are engaged.
-Therefore, we are ready to continue to jointly implement beneficial projects for all, including participation in the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project.
The head of SACE noted that the export credit Agency is also ready to expand its presence in other economic projects of Turkmenistan. The successful business forum in Milan showed that there are many opportunities for the development of trade and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
According to Quintieri, SACE over the past three years has invested 72 billion euros in the promotion of 21 thousand Italian companies and enterprises in the international market. At the same time, he noted the Agency's clear interest in Turkmenistan, with which it has been cooperating for many years, primarily in the oil and gas sector.
