Uzbekistan's auto industry to supply 800 buses for oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan plans to purchase 800 ISUZU buses for the oil and gas industry, manufactured at the Samarkand Automobile Plant. According to the “Uzbekistan News” online publication, an agreement was reached within the framework of the first Caspian Economic Forum (KEF), held in the Avaza tourist zone on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.

-Buses are intended solely for transporting workers and employees of the oil and gas sector working on a rotational basis,- said Fakhriddin Bakiyev, director of a dealer company representing the interests of the automobile industry in Uzbekistan.

Recall that in the framework of the First Caspian Economic Forum, the first international auto exhibition “Türkmen sährasy-2019” took place. It was widely represented the most modern cars of the leading representatives of the automotive industry. Among them: Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, BMW, General Motors, Mini, Toyota, Aurus and others.
