Roundtable on the First Caspian Economic Forum held in Georgia

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia held a round table discussion on the First Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held on August 12, 2019 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, the website of the Foreign Ministry of our country reports.

The event was attended by the faculty and students of various universities of Georgia, as well as media representatives.

A video presentation of the Caspian Economic Forum was presented to the participants of the round table, initiated by President Berdimuhamedov in Turkmenistan at the Fifth Summit of the Caspian littoral states.

During the event, it was emphasized that one of the important tasks of the forum is to use the unifying factor of the Caspian Sea in consolidating efforts to expand mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, including the development of mechanisms for the efficient use of natural resources.

The upcoming Caspian Economic Forum is expected to become a major platform for the formation of joint regional and sectoral economic development agendas based on direct intersectoral interaction of states. Representatives of a number of governments, heads of international organizations, large companies, market experts and leading media will take part in this event.
