Shymkent Oil Refinery of Kazakhstan started to produce diesel fuel of ecological class K4 and K5, the company “KazMunaiGaz” said it on Friday.
"Shymkent Petroleum Refinery LLP "PetroKazakhstan Oil Products” switched to the production of diesel fuel of ecological class K4 and K5 in accordance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union of the EEU," the report said.
In Kazakhstan, pilot-industrial diesel fuel K4 and diesel K5 have already been developed, quality passports for products have been issued, and declarations of compliance of the technical regulations of the Customs Union with state bodies have been received.
Since July of this year, the Shymkent plant has started production of high-octane gasolines of ecological classes K4 and K5. Currently, at the completion stage is the construction of facilities within the II stage of the plant modernization project, aimed at increasing the plant's capacity to six million tons per year and processing depth. The project is scheduled to be completed in September 2018, the report said.
Pavlodar petrochemical plant said yesterday that it plans to start production of K4 diesel fuel from December 22, 2017. Petroleum products of class K4 and K5 are an analogue of European Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards, adopted in the countries of the Customs Union.
