The Japanese automotive corporation Toyota Motor intends to completely stop the production of cars with gasoline or diesel engines by 2025. The automaker expects to concentrate on selling cars that use electric motors in varying degrees.
In particular, we are talking about hybrid gasoline-electric cars, cars using hydrogen fuel cells, as well as electric vehicles in pure form. In the first half of the 2020s, Toyota Motor will offer more than 10 models of electric vehicles on the market. The carmaker does not engage in production of electric cars yet, Izvestia reports.
