Kazakhstan plans to attract to the fuel and energy sector of the republic from 2017 to 2025 investments of 19 trillion tenge (about 55 billion dollars). The Minister of Energy of the republic Kanat Bozumbayev on the XIth Euroasian forum KAZENERGY in Astana reported about it, TASS reports.
"The total amount of investments on initiatives of the fuel energy sector for 2017-2025 will constitute over 19 trillion tenges, them which 97% will be provided due to private investments", - TASS quotes the minister.
According to Bozumbayev, there are implemented projects on a construction of four total petrochemical plants by capacity of 2,3 million tons per year of products of a high value added in oil and gas chemistry. "In nuclear power construction projects of the plant on production of the heatallocating assemblies, to implementation of IT technologies at the uranium mining entities and also strengthening of search works for completion of mineral resources of uranium will be realized", - the Minister of Energy specified.
