The American Energy Transfer Partners reported that it sells 32,44% in the company connected with the under construction gas pipeline of Rover, largest in the USA, for 1,57 billion dollars. A buyer is Blackstone.
Blackstone Energy Partners and Blackstone Capital Partners will purchase 49,9% in the HoldCo company which possesses 65% in Rover Pipeline LLC, "Prime" writes.
Extent of the gas pipeline will constitute more than 1120 kilometers, on it 3,25 billion cubic feet of gas a day from slate formations of Marcellus and Utica on the markets of the USA and Canada will be delivered.
After closing of the transaction of 50,1% of HoldCo will belong to Energy Transfer, 49,9% - to Blackstone. Energy Transfer which is also an operator of the Dakota Access pipeline, plans to spend the received funds for debt repayment and financing of the current projects, it is said in the statement.
