The first batch of environmentally friendly gasoline, shipped from the recently commissioned plant for the production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas (Gas to gasoline), arrived in neighboring Afghanistan.
On June 28, the day of the opening of the new production complex in Akhal region, the first batch of products of the new plant - gas gasoline and liquefied natural gas-was sent to Afghanistan by rail and road. As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted at the time, the first 60 tons of these products will be sent to the brotherly people of Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.
At the station of Akina, the train and the convoy with gasoline ECO-93 and LNG were met by mayor of the village of Akina, representatives of the Afghan foreign Ministry, customs, oil and gas and railway structures, media workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Afghan officials, local authorities and residents expressed their gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people for the ongoing fraternal assistance to the neighboring state.
It is worth noting that eco-93 environmentally friendly gasoline, corresponding to the EURO-5 standard, the production of which is mastered at the new plant in Ovadandepe in the amount of 600 thousand tons per year, is planned to be implemented both within Turkmenistan and abroad. Many European countries have already confirmed their interest in receiving this product. In particular, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and other countries placed orders for gas gasoline.
