The gas chemical complex in Kiyanly was marked by certificates of foreign organizations

Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the widespread introduction of environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies in industry, including in the oil and gas, electric power and chemical industries. This was stated today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the opening ceremony of a new gas chemical complex in Kiyanly in the coastal zone of the Caspian sea.

During the event, the presentation of certificates confirming the efficiency, innovation and environmental safety of the new production took place.

The plant will annually process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, from which 386 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene and 81 thousand tons of polypropylene will be produced. Special attention at the plant, working on the basis of innovative technologies, is paid to the prevention of harmful effects on the environment, which is achieved through the use of the latest systems of filtration of waste gases, their further utilization.

Thus, the certificate of "Innovation and technology" was presented by doctor of agronomic and horticultural Sciences of the German Institute Julius Kuha-Margit Olle. Robert Dubois Morris, senior Advisor Of the environmental health Trust (USA), presented the plant's management with a certificate for environmental cleanliness of a large chemical enterprise. The Chairman of the Institute of energy Paul Scherrer (Switzerland) URS Weidmann presented the certificate "Stability and efficiency".

Thanking the guests for the awards and certificates, G. Berdimuhamedov noted that he perceives them as a sign of high international rating of Turkmenistan, recognition of its success in the use of innovative technologies in the construction of facilities for various purposes.

"The large-scale industrial program implemented in our country is inextricably linked with environmental issues," the head of state stressed. - Supporting the efforts of the international community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the widespread introduction of environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies in industry, including oil and gas, electricity and chemical industries.

Production of polyethylene and polypropylene at the enterprise will be carried out on the basis of modern technologies, the distinctive feature of which is the deep purification of raw materials from impurities. As a result, the company will produce environmentally friendly products that meet international standards.
