Oil prices continue to fall: Brent- $ 81.67 per barrel, WTI - $71.99

The price of December futures on Brent on the London stock exchange ICE Futures to 8:04 GMT decreased by $1.42, to $81.67 per barrel. This is evidenced by the auction data.

The price of WTI futures for November on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) electronic trading fell by $1.18, to $71.99 per barrel.

On October 10, oil prices fell, despite fears of a decline in production in the Gulf of Mexico due to hurricane Michael. As a result of trading, the value of the December contract for Brent on the ICE Futures exchange in London collapsed by $1.91 and amounted to $83.09 per barrel.

November WTI futures on the new York Mercantile exchange NYMEX fell by $ 1.79, to $73.17 per barrel, Finmarket writes.

Oil reserves in the US for the week ended October 5, jumped by 9.75 million barrels. Gasoline reserves increased by 3.4 million barrels, while distillate reserves decreased by 3.5 million barrels.
