Kawasaki company is ready to actively participate in the implementation of large-scale projects in Turkmenistan

On September 18, 2018, the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the delegation of the Japanese company “Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd”, headed by the President of the company for energy system and industrial development Tatsuya Watanabe, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit. At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkmen side expressed its gratitude to the head of the company for participation in the implementation of the project for the construction of a urea plant commissioned on September 17, 2018 and noted the productive nature of the interaction established between Turkmenistan and the largest Japanese companies.

The parties also discussed the implementation of agreements that contribute to the development of mutually beneficial relations, exchanged views on the possibility of their further expansion. In particular, the participants of the meeting considered the issues of development of cooperation in the field of industry and energy.

Highly appreciating the open investment policy conducted under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, the President of the Japanese company said he was ready to take an active part in the implementation of large-scale national projects.
