World oil prices in the morning of August 13 do not show a single dynamics. This is evidenced by the auction data.
As of 8:36 GMT, the cost of October futures for the North sea Brent mixture decreased by 0.26% to 72.62 dollars per barrel, September futures for WTI - fell by 0.06% to 67.59 dollars per barrel, earlier in the trading this figure grew.
At the same time, the strengthening of the dollar puts additional pressure on the price of oil, because it makes it more expensive for investors who own another currency, RIA Novosti reported.
Meanwhile, the situation around Iran is holding back the reduction of oil prices, as it raises concerns about the supply of Iranian oil.
