Turkmenistan will increase oil transit to consumers by the BTD oil pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan). It was said by the head of department of marketing and economic transactions of the Azerbaijani state company Adnan Akhmedzade, the Trend reports.
According to the representative of the Azerbaijani company, Turkmenistan signed the relevant agreement on transportation of raw materials for 2017-2018, and this year the amount of the exported oil will make 3-4 million tons.
As a result almost all Turkmen oil exported abroad in 2018 will pass by the BTD oil pipeline.
Now Turkmenistan makes efforts for diversification of routes of export of energy carriers and also in involvement of new buyers.
