December futures for Brent crude oil by 7:47 Moscow time on October 18 rose 36 cents (0,6%) - up to $58,24 for barrel. The quotations of the November contract for WTI crude oil added 20 cents (0,4%) - to $51,88 for barrel, the Russian agency of oil and gas information reports.
Oil prices after the volatile session practically did not change on October 17. At first black gold rose in price against the background of the increased intensity in the Middle East. Then the oil prices passed to decrease after statements of Iraq for intention to develop oil production in the province Kirkuk.
Following the results of the biddings on October 17 the cost of the December contract for Brent crude oil at the ICE Futures exchange in London grew by $0,06 (0,1%) and constituted $57,88 for barrel, Finmarket tells.
