In the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan the new book of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was presented

Today in the second half of day in the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan the presentation new book of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Turkmenistan — the Heart of the Great Silk Way" took place.

Heads and employees of State concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit", the State corporation "Turkmengeology", CJSC "Nebitgazkhyzmat" and industry scientific institute participated in the presentation. 

During the presentation speeches of workers of the complex took place. In performances it was noted that the new work of the President of Turkmenistan devoted to the Great Silk way united in itself a historical way, a national and cultural originality, traditions, customs and vital foundations of the Turkmen people.

The Great Silk way in the book is considered as the unique historical and cultural phenomenon. "One of fundamental roles in origin and active functioning of the Great Silk way which each branch is worthy inclusions in the World list of heritage of UNESCO belongs also to Turkmens. The destiny initially intended to Turkmens to build, create, develop, establish friendly relations between the people, to rally them, to preserve the peace, to appreciate above all advantages of people", - it is noted in introduction to the new edition.

The new book consists of six chapters: "Along Dzheykhun", "Ancient Merv", "Between Sarakhs and Anau", "From Nisa to Dekhistan", "On the ancient earth of Dashoguz", "In the fantastic world". This peculiar overview of the territory of Turkmenistan – from the East to the west, represents the "geography" of the Great Silk way connected with the cities and sign places of our country which since the most ancient times were in the center of trade and cultural ways.

The book "Turkmenistan — the Heart of the Great Silk Way" executed at the high printing level and published by the Center of Print of the Turkmen public publishing service is expected a wide range of readers.
