The President of Turkmenistan handed to Vladimir Putin the award "For a Contribution to Development of Cooperation"

At the end of the awards ceremony of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Turkmen leader announced rewarding of the Russian President Vladimir Putin of one of the highest state awards of the country – the award "Hyzmatdaşlygy ösdürmäge goşandy üçin" - "For a contribution to development of cooperation".  

As Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized, this decision is recognition of merits of the President of the Russian Federation in development and strengthening of the Turkmen-Russian relations, his powerful contribution to providing the peace and expansion of international cooperation. 

- Turkmenistan knows Vladimir Vladimirovich and deeply respect as the wise and far-sighted statesman, - Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told. - His fruitful activities on the presidency, wide political experience and high professionalism got not only national support in Russia, but also deserved authority and respect around the world. 

- The adherence to principles, high responsibility, the state wisdom - these qualities allow the President of the Russian Federation to head the country, to lead the people of Russia to new progress, to keep and strengthen stability and unity of the state, - the President of Turkmenistan told. 

The head of the state also noted that today Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation successfully cooperate practically in all areas of bilateral interaction, including in political, trade and economic and humanitarian spheres. Turkmenistan and Russia are connected by the close relations based on mutual respect, equality and unite aspiration to progress and development.  

Having handed the award to Vladimir Putin, the President of Turkmenistan wished him good health, success in responsible state activities and also wellbeing, the peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Russia.
